Sunflower Gallery

At Easter, our friends at Silverstone Methodist Church sent us a number of tiny sunflower plants as a symbol of new life and hope at Easter and in the midst of the Corona virus epidemic.

The seedlings were given to members of the Brackley Congregation and we are delighted to have received photos of some of the blooms:

Our sunflower has been growing very slowly! This week we visited the sunflower patch at Rectory Farm near Wappenham and brought home an impressive bloom to help inspire it. And it worked! Some little yellow petals have finally been revealed! In case there is any doubt, ours is the one on the right!!
